Meet our Latest Blogger: John Carvallo

My passion is in the hunt! The most exhilarating part of antique collecting is the search for hidden gems; flea markets, auctions, classified ads, but also in some very inconspicuous places, such as trash piles, estate sales and bargain bins. My background is in business and marketing, but through my friends and co-hobbyists I have been seasoned on the proper methods to bring these historical items back to life in such a way that displays the true beauty of our American history. Although it's hard to pick a favorite fan, I'd have to say my hunt is currently for an Eck hurricane fan.
