The fifth annual Lehigh Valley fan meet was held this weekend at Robin Cook's home in Coopersburg, PA. With approximately 40 people in attendance and hundreds of fans, this antique fan collector would say the event was a smashing success.
Not only was the weather perfect, the food was abundant and there was plenty of good company. I made some great new friends, had an opportunity to drive a beautiful 1972 2002tii in completely original and spectacular condition, and even bought my dream fan! A 12" R&M lollipop in 9/10 original condition. After a long day of fanning, we retreated back across town to my house for dinner.
If you haven't been to one of Robin and Eduin's meets then this is a must for next year. We have also been discussing the possibility of a White Glove Fans hosted event in the Lehigh Valley sometime during the Fall. Perhaps in early October. Is this something that would interest anyone?
